TITLE: Ashley Theophane... An Undiscovered Boxing Treasure
From the tough streets of London walked a young man. Destined to fail and become nothing, he escaped his harsh reality and made a wonderful and positive change for his life. Robbing and thugging was no longer the normal way of going about things, but the hunger and drive for boxing, lured him along another path.
See, for Ashley "Treasure" Theophane the streets of London was a trap. Far from having a positive outlook on life, in London he did what he had to do to survive, "My story. In a short essay. I Got expelled from two schools. I hit the streets, robbing rich people. Alot of friends went jail. It made me think, I got a talent, I could use and do something with my life. So I focused more on my boxing. I finished
When the NHL introduced three-point games several years ago, by giving a point to the losing team in overtime and shootout games, it had many hockey purists up in arms. However, even the old school has to agree that the new system has produced the desired effect, which means the race for playoff spots literally comes down to the last game of the season for many teams. Going into the last week of the season there were a remarkable nine out of 16 playoff spots still up for grabs. In fact, only nine out of 30 teams were out of the race by April 1st.
The three-point format has produced excitement and scoreboard watching in cities throughout the league, and for added excitement, most teams in the hunt for playoff spots finish the regular season off by battling each other in

Title: Replay Not the Best for Baseball
Location: Texas
Major League Baseball general managers recently voted 25-5 recommending that instant replay be used on fan interference and boundary calls such as home runs. There are tentative plans to implement it in the Arizona Fall League as a test this year. While there are always good arguments for using replay, it may not be in the best interest of the game itself.
Fans and players all know the pain of having a game turn or even lost as a result of an incorrect call. Last year, the Padres were eliminated from the playoffs as Matt Holliday “scored” without touching home plate. No Chicago Cubs fan will ever forget the name Steve Bartman, and Oriole fans will always remember Derek Jeter’s “home run” that 12 year old Joey Maier stole from Tony Tarasco’s glove.
The mental game has some interesting psychological scenarios: you may be tired, wired, buzzed, drunk, stressed, have a cold, under pressure arriving late to league, not feeling any pressure at all, cocky, out of practice or just flat out 100% on your game. All these scenarios are your game, first you need to learn your habits and make the proper adjustments.
In APA 8 Ball, I am an SL 7, I have to play some of the best players in the league and at times play some good under ranked SL 2s, SL 3s, & SL 4 players so I have to always be on my game. As you know it is not always possible to be sharp.
During a match keep playing on another table if practice is allowed, practice your safeties, practice bank shots, kick shots, cut shots, play if you

Title: The Heineken Cup Final
Location: Spain
Date: June
Munster 16-13 Toulouse
Munster have immense experience in the pinnacle world club competition and winning the cup was never the difficulty they made it out to be.
It was an admirable final. Munster did themselves proud and lived up to their reputation while Toulouse, didn‘t really pull out all the stops, but we did get to see each team play to their different strengths. The two teams had featured in seven of the past nine finals and were owners of four Heineken Cups between them heading into this game
Toulouse started off well and kept Munster back inside their own half from the first whistle. French scrum-half, Elissalde, missed an early penalty but still put Toulouse into the lead after eight minutes with a drop-goal. The French continued on form for a while but Munster's brutal defence kept them at bay.
The FA Cup returned to the English calendar last weekend (26th/27th Jan) and proved that there is still romance and magic in the oldest and most famous soccer competition in the world. This year threw up some tasty fixtures as Liverpool FC, the most successful English club, faced non league minnows Havent & Waterlooville. With a banana skin on the cards for Liverpool they looked set to dispose of the Blue Square South League strugglers who had other plans for the men in red from Merseyside.
Havent were 60/1 with some book makers just too even take the lead at any time, and with a giant killing on the cards they done just that only eight minutes into the game. Liverpool pulled level when Brazilian starlet Lucas lashed home from 30 yards, but before Liverpool could get a
Annika Sorenstam is one of the greatest golfers male or female to ever step on the links. If you don't believe me just take a look at her accomplishments on the on the course. She dominated the LPGA Tour for the better part of the last ten years. She is already in the Hall of Fame and she has won more majors than any female golfer alive. After a dominating performance earlier this spring there is no doubt that Annika still has enough in the tank should she want to continue to play. Despite that, Annika announced that the 2008 LPGA Tour season would be final run as a professional golfer. There is no doubt that Annika helped usher women’s golf into a new age, and she is leaving the game in some very

Title: A WILD CARD FINALE
Location: Spain
Date: June
Well, well, well, two wild cards in the final for only the second time in surfing world tour history and Kelly Slater was no where to be seen. Brazilian wildcard Bruno Santos defeated local wildcard Manoa Drollet (PYF) to win the Billabong Pro Tahiti and become the first Brazilian to win an ASP World Tour event in five years. Eight-time ASP World Champion Kelly Slater (USA) and last year’s World No. 2 Taj Burrow (AUS) were Round 3 fatalities to Billabong Pro Tahiti wildcards. Bruno Santos (BRA), who eradicated World Champion Mick Fanning (AUS) in a close heat, beat Burrow with ease when he took the lead with an 8.33.
Manoa Drollet (local surfer) who won his Round 1 heat over Slater and C.J. Hobgood, beating the World No. 1 with a 14.00 heat total even though Slater caught the best
